"Books" - the ginsu knife for organizing info

The Book module offers wiki-like functionality, but without the hassle of maintaining separate software or learning the, sometimes awkward, wiki syntax. "Books" enable one or more people to create living documents. They can include any number of pages and be organized in whatever manner and/or hierarchy you choose. This post is actually the top-level, parent item of a book we've made.

Click the title of the post to see how the book module functions.

How a book works
At the bottom of the post you can see how this book is organized. The links to the child pages of the book are created automatically for us as we add new pages to the book.

Additionally, we have the optional book navigation block turned on. You can see this at the top lefthand side of the page. When turned on, the block appears on all book pages to provide easy navigation and an overview of the book hierarchy.

Adding pages to a book
Assuming you are already signed in (login info here), you should see text which reads, "Add child page" at the bottom of this post. Adding pages to the book is as simple as selecting this link, filling out the resulting page, and submitting it. Be sure to choose the correct place in the book hierarchy to add your new page.
